Raido Kivikangur - Executive decision coach

About me and how I help you
I help leaders under pressure end decision loops, lock priorities, and execute with calm clarity. Together we turn complex, messy situations into a clear decision path and practical next steps you can actually follow through on.
My background
I bring a rare combination of real-world executive experience and professional coaching. I’ve served as a senior executive (CTO and program leader) in high-pressure, regulated environments and led delivery across large infrastructure and energy programs, including €3B+ initiatives. That means I understand decisions where time, money, reputation, and people are all on the line.
What you can expect from working with me
Fast, structured clarity on the real problem (not the loudest symptoms)
Decisions that “click” because the trade-offs are clear and owned
Stakeholder alignment and accountability so execution doesn’t drift
Calm confidence under pressure, without burning out
Decision loops often happen when complex trade-offs get treated as “right vs wrong”.
Clarity is choosing the trade-off you can stand behind.
How we work
1. Clarify the decision: We define what decision you’re actually making, what constraints matter, and what options are real. No more circular debate.
2. Lock priorities and ownership: We align stakeholders, define roles, and make the “next move” obvious. If no one owns it, it won’t happen.
3. Execute with rhythm: We turn the decision into a short execution plan and a cadence that keeps momentum, even when new fires appear.
Optional: walk-and-think sessions to reset perspective and break habitual patterns.
Reliable and inspiring
Raido is a very reliable and inspiring person from whom I have sought help to become a better leader. He has helped me understand better where my boundaries lie, when and how to rest, especially when the job position often doesn't allow for it, and how to effectively and professionally handle problems when managing people. Raido keeps in touch even when you don't have active sessions with him and really shows he cares and has listened to your stories. Every manager should have at least a few sessions with Raido to become a better leader for their team.

Effective way to achieve the results
“I was a president of voluntary organisation JCI Tallinn when I met Raido. We were just working on a charitable project “Rat Race”. It happened that the existing project manager decided to quit, but Raido agreed to take up the position only a couple of months before the culmination. Raido managed to quickly bring himself up to speed with the project, systematically work with the team, set the short-term goals to achieve the end result and to start working. Raido has a remarkable skill to energise the team, taking into consideration the skills and wishes of each team member who were contributing to the project along side their every day lives. He encouraged them to achieve the best result ever, it is astonishing. He is very systematic and knows exactly how to achieve the goal with the whole team.
